About
I am a convergent journalism major at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri. I graduate in May of 2020.
While sports is my passion, I have experience with news, lifestyles and investigative type reporting.
I have had a written feature piece nominated for an CMA Pinnacle and a photo of Patrick Mahomes used in USA Today.

Bio
I have been a reporter since 2018, including two years as the sports editor at the South Cass Tribune in Harrisonville, MO. I covered seven different high schools during my time there by using photography, video, page design, game stories and features.
While sports is my passion, I have experience with news, lifestyles and investigative type reporting.
I have a written feature piece that finished second for a CMA Pinnacle and a photo of Patrick Mahomes used in USA Today.
The Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals and Kansas Jayhawks are my favorite teams to follow. I actually went to KU for awhile, before transferring and finishing my degree at Missouri Western.
Why me?
You should want to hire me because I am a jack of all trades. I have experience in video, photography, writing, radio and editing.
No, I did not graduate from a big school or work at a big newspaper, but that should add to my appeal because I have been asked to do more with less my entire career and am well practiced in many facets of journalism.
